Listening to the audio commentary of David Fincher’s Fight Club DVD, particularly during the scene where the camera shot plunges many floors into the car park basement, and straight into the bullet hole of the van’s windshield, finally revealing the explosives supposedly destined to blast the building into smithereens, Brad Pitt asks David, “How did you drop the camera like that?” and “How did it go through the bullet hole?” The director could only reply, “Uhhhhh…” Thanks to Ed Norton the director didn’t have to answer Brad’s questions.
